Through a new partner program, the open source specialist OpenLogic plans for a greater involvement of free software vendors in customer support. Based in Colorado, the provider of open source stacks – certified open source applications tailored to each other – has already got Jaspersoft, an open source business intelligence software provider, and EnterpriseDB, a database expert, on board.

Back in 2006, the firm founded the OpenLogic Expert Community. This new program relies on developers of popular open source projects for solutions to complex problems. Customers purchasing an integrated solution from OpenLogic receive support direct from program partners that provide the solution components, as well as support from OpenLogic's support team. OpenLogic also plans to act as a reseller for their partners' product ranges.
