SugarCRM 5.1 officially released

SugarCRM has released SugarCRM 5.1, the open source customer relationship managment (CRM) package, to general availability, slightly after than the originally planned June release date. New advanced reporting and analytics and a wireless HTML client are the highlights of the release. The wireless HTML client includes support for iPhone and Blackberry smartphones allowing mobile sales people to access CRM data without a PC or laptop.

SugarCRM is available as a hosted Software-as-a-service (SaaS) application, or as an installable package. The company supplies two commercial versions, SugarCRM Professional and SugarCRM Enterprise, as well as the GPLv3 licensed SugarCRM Community Edition.
