Opsview Enterprise 3.10 released

Opsview Logo UK-based commercial open source software vendor Opsera has released version 3.10 of its Opsview Enterprise Edition for network, server and application monitoring. According to the company, the latest release of its flagship product includes more than 100 new features and other enhancements.

Opsview Enterprise 3.10 features support for Amazon EC2, Amazon Simple Storage Services (S3) Bucket and Slicehost cloud monitoring. Additions to the Reports Module, include; "Service Level", "Downtime By Service And Keyword" and "Yearly Top Downtime Services' reports". These reports can be then be generated as, for example, PDFs, Flash images or Word documents.

The user interface has also seen improvements, making it more compact with "polished" page headers to increase the visible area and easy to read, drop down menus. Other changes include numerous system configuration enhancements, graphing performance improvements and various third party updates, such as Nagios 3.2.3 and Nagios Plug-ins 1.4.15.

A live Online Demo is available for users wanting to test out the Enterprise Edition of Opsview. The latest release of the GPLv2 licensed Community edition is version 3.9.1 from the 8th of November.
