NetBeans 6.9.1 provides first fixes and JavaFX update

The NetBeans developers have released an update to the recently released NetBeans 6.9. The update, NetBeans 6.9.1, includes all the June and July patches for the Java based IDE, making improvements to the JavaFX debugger and incorporating support for JavaFX 1.3.1. The announcement also notes that the update includes performance improvements, but gives no details.

According to the release notes for the update a number of usability issues in the JavaFX Composer and Editor have been fixed. A full listing of the patches incorporated is available. NetBeans 6.9.1 is available to download and is dual licensed under the Common Development and Distribution Licence (CDDL) v1.0 and the GNU General Public Licence (GPL).
