The Netbeans developers have released NetBeans 6.7.1 as a minor update to NetBeans 6.7. The release has added JavaFX 1.2 support, which was missing from the previous release and only supported on NetBeans 6.5.1. It also has an updated version of GlassFish web application server, which is included with the Java IDE.

The update fixed a number of important bugs in the editor and project scanning functions, based on user feedback. The H's own editor in chief was among the users consulted over these issues, after he reported the Groovy integration in NetBeans 6.7 was showing errors on code which were not errors, but in fact, a bug in NetBeans. The developers at NetBeans contacted all the users who had reported show stopper bugs like this and made a pre-release version available to them to confirm the bugs had been fixed.

NetBeans 6.7.1 is available to download and is dual licensed under the CDDL and GPLv2 licences.
