Android developers will have two events to visit next week with droidcamp and droidcon being held on the 1st and 2nd of December respectively. The events are modelled on droidcon Berlin which was held at the start of November.

Droidcon on the 2nd of December is a one day conference for Android developers which will be covering subjects such as working with audio, understanding Android byte code, testing, use of the native developer kit and best practices for coding on the open sourced operating system. Entry to droidcon is £95, but using the code SM1858-623043-G8M when booking with Skills Matter, organisers of the event, reduces that cost to £45. Droidcon is being held at the Skills Matter eXchange in Clerkenwell, London.

Droidcamp is a free event held the day before droidcon, which complements the formal conference with a day of participatory hacking and coding for anyone who is interested in Android. The camp is being held at The Crypt at St James Church, also in Clerkenwell. Attendees are asked to pre-register at the droidcamp site.

The H is a media sponsor of both events and will be reporting on the proceedings of droidcon.
