Clonezilla Live open source clone system adds new options
The Clonezilla developers have released version 1.2.6-59 of Clonezilla Live. Clonezilla is an open source clone system (OCS) with features similar to Symantec Ghost Corporate Edition and Partimage, and is designed for hard disk partitioning and cloning.
Based on the unstable branch of Debian, known as "Sid", from 13 January, the latest stable release of Clonezilla Live features the 2.6.32-30 Linux kernel and updates to live-boot and live-config. An option to force the use of dd has been added in expert mode, as has a custom option to save and restore dual-boot systems. Other changes include language file updates and fixes for various bugs found in the previous version. All users are encouraged to upgrade.
More details about the update can be found in the official release announcement. Licensed under the GPL, Clonezilla Live 1.2.6-59 is availble to download as an ISO image file from SourceForge.
