VirtualBox 3.0.10 released

Sun Microsystems has announced the release of version 3.0.10 of its open source VirtualBox desktop virtualisation application for x86 hardware. VirtualBox 3.0.10 is a maintenance update that includes a number of bug fixes and performance improvements.

Among the bugs that the 3.0.10 release addresses are memory leaks and a redraw problem on dual display Mac OS X Snow Leopard hosts. Additional improvements include installer updates for Windows 7, guest SMP stability fixes, stability fixes for some USB 2.0 devices and updates for Windows 7 XP compatibility mode.

More details about the release can be found in the Change Log. VirtualBox 3.0.10 is available to download for Windows, Mac OS X, Linux and Solaris. VirtualBox is released under version 2 of the GNU General Public License (GPLv2) and VirtualBox binaries are released under the VirtualBox Personal Use and Evaluation License (PUEL) licence.
