Red Hat takes over JBoss specialist Amentra
Red Hat has acquired Amentra, the service provider that offers consulting and development for the implementation of JBoss middleware. The takeover represents the implementation of the Enterprise Acceleration Initiative that Red Hat announced at JBoss World 2008 and is aimed at increasing its middleware business.
Amentra will have the status of an independent Red Hat subsidiary. Neither firm would comment on the price of the buyout.
