Following a five-month beta phase, Skype 2.0 for Linux has been released. The most important update is video calling, which has already been implemented for some time under other operating systems. There is also a fee display for land line calls via SkypeOut.

A detailed list of the other features, as well as fixes since the beta version appeared in November 2007, is available in the release notes.
