OpenLogic have announced that they are expanding their commercial support services for open source packages to include CentOS Linux. The company offers indemnification for a certified range of around 500 open source packages and a choice of either Developer Support with a four hour response time during business hours or Production Support with a one hour, round-the-clock response time. In what CEO Steve Grandchamp says is a "natural extension of our business", the company has now added CentOS Linux to its support offering.

OpenLogic's support offering for CentOS is priced on a per server, or unlimited server basis with unlimited CPUs and up to five virtual machines per server and includes indemnification for the operating system kernel and utilities. The CentOS Linux distribution is created from the freely available source code of Red Hat's Enterprise Linux (RHEL). Pricing on the support ranges from $500 per server, per year, for small deployments and with unlimited server support starting at $15,000 per year. OpenLogic also announced they had added two companies to their Expert Partner program, credativ and Pantek, to assist the company in delivering the CentOS support services.
