GIMP 2.6.9 arrives with bug fixes & translation updates
Over six months after the last stable version arrived, the GIMP project development team have released the ninth point update to the 2.6.x branch of GIMP (an acronym for the GNU Image Manipulation Program). While no new features have been added, the latest version of the open source image editing tool corrects nearly 20 bugs and includes several new and updated translations.
Additional information about the update, including a full list of bug fixes, can be found in the change log. GIMP 2.6.9 is available to download from one of the project's mirrors and is released under version 2 of the GNU General Public License.
