Red Hat JBoss EPP 5.0 released
Red Hat has released version 5.0 of the JBoss Enterprise Portal Platform (EPP) - a middleware solution to develop, deploy and manage dynamic web sites. Presented at the Red Hat Summit and JBoss World 2010 which ends today, version 5.0 of JBoss EPP is said to have a great many changes when compared to the previous version, all of which make it possible to save a lot of time and money when setting up and operating web portals.
Along with JBoss EPP, Red Hat is providing a "Technical Preview" of an add-on module for EPP – EPP Site Publisher powered by eXo, which allows those outside the IT department to easily perform basic web content management.
