CollabNet Logo California-based Agile Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) specialist CollabNet has announced the release of TeamForge Project, the company's integrated suite of web-based development and collaboration tools for Agile software development. The release is a component of CollabNet’s Codesion Professional Edition product and follows a four month beta test by more than 100 organisations.

Discussing the announcement, CollabNet Codesion Cloud Services General Manager and VP Guy Marion said, "There are few mature Cloud-based solutions for collaborative software development that offer enterprise-grade security, functionality, and support in a Web-based model optimized for the diverse needs of rapid-growth emerging enterprises," adding that, "Today, TeamForge Project and Codesion Professional Edition uniquely enable organizations to dramatically reduce their startup costs and time to market while expanding their global operations.”

Codesion Professional Edition costs $99 per month for a five-user Starter Pack or $225 per month for 10 users. A live online demonstration of CollabNet TeamForge Project is scheduled for 8 March at 9:00 am PST and registration is free.

CollabNet acquired Codesion, which specialised in software configuration management (SCM) technologies on a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) basis, in October of last year and is also the founder of the popular open source version control and configuration management tool, Subversion, an Apache Top-Level Project.
