CollabNet acquires Scrum specialist Danube
CollabNet, a California-based Agile application lifecycle management (ALM) specialist, has announced that it has acquired Scrum specialist Danube. The financial terms of the deal, have not been disclosed. Danube is the company behind the ScrumWorks Pro project management solution.
Victor Szalvay, former CTO and Danube co-founder, is now the CTO of CollabNet's new Scrum Business Unit. The two companies will be hosting an online webinar covering TeamForge and ScrumWorks on the 16th of March, 2010. The webinar will begin at 10 am PDT (6 pm GMT) and registration is required.
CollabNet is also the founder of the popular open source Subversion version control and configuration management tool, which was recently accepted as an Apache Top-Level Project.
