Business Intelligence: Palo GPU in the Cloud

The GPU version of Palo, the free business intelligence solution from German manufacturer Jedox, is now also available in the Amazon Cloud. Palo GPU Accelerator uses the GPU expansion of the Amazon cloud infrastructure. Amazon has offered GPU cluster instances since November running on NVIDIA Tesla cards. The GPU Extension for Palo were developed by Jedox in cooperation with the German Research Society and the Albert Ludwigs University of Freiburg.

A whitepaper is available from Jedox on GPU acceleration. The Palo Suite is available to download from SourceForge under the GPL.
