Palo Logo Version 3.2 of the Palo business intelligence suite has now become available. The Palo software range includes a new GPU version which uses the GPU of modern graphics cards, reportedly speeding up database queries and the analysis of large amounts of data. According to Palo vendor Jedox, the GPU version is up to 30 times faster than traditional On-Line Analytical Processing (OLAP) databases.

In version 3.2, the developers have focused on finalising the GPU version and on increasing Palo's user-friendliness. For instance, they have made it easier to publish tables on the web, and Palo's web interface now responds to the keyboard shortcuts used in Excel. The Palo Suite is available for download from SourceForge under the GPL.
