Zend Studio 7.1 supports PHAR
Zend, the PHP company, has announced the availability of version 7.1 of its Zend Studio PHP integrated development environment (IDE). In addition to performance improvements, the latest release includes a number of new enhancements and capabilities.
Zend Studio 7.1 features support for PHP 5.3, task-focused development and remote server synchronisation. Support has also been added for PHP Archives (PHAR), an archive extension that enables users to group several files into a single file for distribution and installation of complete PHP applications.
More details about the release can be found on the What’s New in Zend Studio 7.1 page. Zend Studio 7.1 is available to download for Linux (32 and 64-bit), Mac OS X and Windows. The PHP IDE starts at €399 (£360) including one year of upgrades and support to €717 (£648) for three years.
