After a long development break, the development team of the WebSVN project has introduced version 2.1 of WebSVN. Written in PHP, the tool allows users to view subversion repositories online. The latest version offers new features like the Generic Syntax Highlighter (GeSHI) for highlighting code. It now also supports Hungarian, Indonesian, Slovakian and Uzbek.

Because the developers also fixed several security problems, XSS vulnerabilities and information gaps, the WebSVN project recommends that users update to the new version. The include/distconfig.php sample application can be viewed to get an idea of the additional configuration options included. WebSVN is published under the GPL.
