Supporting GNOME by buying music via Banshee

Users of Banshee media player can now buy music from Amazon's MP3 store and support the GNOME Foundation at the same time. At the GUADEC conference, the GNOME team announced that the support built in to Banshee to access Amazon's music store now sends an affiliate ID when it transmits requests to purchase music.

As a member of the Amazon Affiliate Program, the GNOME Foundation receives a commission for every purchase of music made through Banshee. Even if you use a different player, it is still possible to provide support to the GNOME Foundation by using the link http://integrated-services.banshee.fm/amz which also sends the Foundation's affiliate ID, to shop on Amazon.
