KMyMoney icon Version 4.6.0 of the KDE financial management application KMyMoney is now available. The new stable version, released eleven months after the previous version, includes a new CSV import plugin which allows for importing CSV files exported by other programs into the KMyMoney account management.

The developers have also added Serbian dinar as a standard currency and allowed for three decimal places when entering loan interest. As Microsoft's OFX service has stopped working, the developers have switched to www.ofxhome.com for information on banks that support the interchange format.

The application has also had its performance improved, though the developers admit that "there's still work to do in this regard". There are also bug fixes, specifically in the import and online banking modules and over 100 bug fixes since the last bugfix release (4.5.3). Full details of all the changes are available in the change log. KMyMoney 4.6.0 is released under the GPL v2 and requires KDE 4.3 or later.
