KDevelop 4.3 arrives with KDE Projects integration
The KDevelop team has released version 4.3 of their integrated development environment (IDE). The new version works with the KDE Projects infrastructure to allow automatic retrieval of the code of any KDE project in order to allow developers to contribute to the project as easily as possible.
Other features in KDevelop 4.3 include the ability to restore folded code regions and bookmarks between sessions, tighter integration with version control systems, improvements to source code formatting and various bug fixes. This new version of the IDE also includes experimental C++11 support. The developers point out, however, that since the C++11 standard is still relatively new, KDevelop is still lacking support for many of its features.
More details about this release can be found in the official release announcement. KDevelop 4.3 is available to download from the project's web site and is licensed under the GPL.
