KDE Akademy 2012 conference Call for Papers

KDE Akademy logo The KDE Project has announced that the deadline for the Akademy 2012 conference Call for Papers (CFP) will be Thursday, 15 March. This year's event will take place from 30 June to 6 July 2012 at the Estonian IT College in Tallinn, Estonia.

Suggested presentation topics include maturity and innovation, embracing the Qt Project and other partners, the KDE Frameworks and application development, as well as accessibility, translation and localisation. A full list of submission requirements is provided on the Call for Papers page; notifications of whether a proposal has been accepted will be sent on 30 March 2012.

The annual KDE Community Summit is open to contributors and users from around the world. At this year's event, the community will be celebrating 15 years of KDE and the 10th holding of the summit itself. Further details about the event, including venue and program information, can be found on the Akademy 2012 web site. Attendance is free, however, registration is required.
