FOSDEM 2011: Call for presentations

FOSDEM Logo The eleventh annual Free and Open Source Software Developers' European Meeting (FOSDEM) will take place on the 5th and 6th of February, 2011 in Brussels, Belgium. The KDE organisers have announced that they are now accepting submissions for talks to take place in the Cross Desktop Developer Room (DevRoom) on any KDE related topic.

All proposals must be submitted before the deadline of the 22nd of December, 2010. More details about submitting talks, including available times and requirements, can be found on the KDE FOSDEM 2011 Wiki.

Other DevRoom organisers, such as the BSD, Free Java, LibreOffice, PostgreSQL and Perl developers, are also requesting submissions for talks. A list of confirmed 2011 DevRooms, including talk proposal deadlines, is available on fosdem.org.

Attendance at FOSDEM is free and prior registration is not necessary. This year's sponsors include O'Reilly, Google, HP, SourceForge and Cisco.
