CogniDox releases OTRS Joomla! Gateway

UK-based open source software vendor CogniDox has released a gateway that combines the PHP-based Joomla! content management system (CMS) with the OTRS (Open source Ticket Request System) ticket-based email management software. According to the company, its OTRS Joomla! Gateway component enables Joomla-based sites to easily access OTRS tickets. It says that it created the software because it felt that there was a "gap in the market" for a "great trouble ticket tracking solution that can be used as a Joomla! component".

More information about the OTRS Joomla! Gateway, including download links and installation instructions, can be found on the company's product page. The OTRS Joomla! gateway software is hosted on GitHub and is licensed under the GNU Affero General Public Licence (AGPL).
