HP patches Mercury Quality Center
Hewlett Packard has released an update for its Mercury Quality Center management software, which contains a fix for a security vulnerability in an ActiveX control. According to the security bulletin, the vulnerability could have been used by an attacker to infect a PC with malicious code. This would, however, have required the user to visit a prepared website. Mercury Quality Center 8.2 (SP1) and 9.0 were affected. The vendor does not give any further details.
