Zarafa Logo Messaging and collaboration specialist Zarafa has published the programme for this year's two-day international SummerCamp event. The company's annual SummerCamp will take place on 30 June and 1 July in Kerkrade in The Netherlands at the Rolduc conference centre.

Zarafa SummerCamp 2011 will open with keynotes from the Zarafa Management, followed by a keynote by Roberto Galoppini and Davide Galletti entitled "Scoring the Zarafa Ecosystem on open source maturity, licensing, adoption and leadership". Presentations will cover topics such as migrating to Zarafa Archiver and creating add-ons with Zarafa WebApp; there will also be hands-on lab sessions. A "special launch" is planned for the afternoon of the first day.

More than 200 developers, customers and partners attended last year's SummerCamp in Brussels. At the 2010 event, Zarafa announced the launch of a new integration framework and its Zarafa Archiver (ZA) solution that optimises disk space consumption by moving old messages to slower and less expensive storage devices.

The preliminary 2011 program is available on the company's web site. Registration is now open – at a cost of €249 (£217) for partners and customers, other participants pay an additional €200 – and includes entry to both days and one night hotel stay.

The Zarafa Collaboration Platform (ZCP) is a Linux-based groupware product which offers IMAP/POP3 access, a CalDAV gateway, native MAPI integration with Outlook and its own WebAccess web client. Visually, the WebAccess client is closely based on Outlook 2003 and offers almost all the features found in Outlook Web Access.
