Wine logo The first stable point update to the 1.4.x branch of the Wine open source Windows API implementation is now available. As expected, the 1.4.1 maintenance release adds no new features, instead focusing on updating translations and fixing nearly 70 bugs.

These include fixes for .NET Framework 3.0, LibreOffice, AutoCAD, Mathematica and Adobe applications such as Premiere Pro, Dreamweaver and Acrobat. Bugs affecting several games including Just Cause and Borderlands have also been addressed.

A full list of changes and fixes can be found in the change log. Wine 1.4.1 can be downloaded from the project's site. Wine is licensed under the LGPLv2.1 or later and is hosted on SourceForge.
