Talend recently announced its Community Coders program, an initiative to provide a central source of information about contributions made by Talend members to open source projects. The program provides resources to help its members to work with one another and discuss their work on projects.

The Community Coders web site is a directory of contributors and the projects they are working on. Projects such as the Apache CXF, Karaf, Camel, ActiveMQ, Santuario, Hadoop and Ace are the focus of work by the team members.

The web site contains resources for current community members and for those who are interested in learning more about the projects. It lists the projects that team members are currently working on and background profiles on the contributors who are currently employed by Talend. Other resources include blogs with information on specific projects and details of events that members will be attending or speaking at. Contributions to these projects help to improve the visibility of open source in enterprise environments.

Talend is one of the largest open source software vendors that offers middleware solutions enabling companies to integrate with open source technologies. It works closely with the open source community projects which enables better product productions benefiting customers.
