Red Hat Logo Red Hat has released the seventh update to Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5. In this release, Red Hat has incorporated some new security features and has made improvements to the integrated KVM and Xen virtualisation. A number of new and revised drivers have been added as Red Hat works to ensure that the distribution – now nearing the end of the first and most active phase of its lifecycle – runs better on modern hardware.

An overview of the features and other improvements is available in a The H feature "The changes in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.7".
