Open Solutions Alliance starts European divison
The Open Solutions Alliance (OSA) has announced the establishment of a European divison. The organisation, founded nearly a year ago, has more than 20 open-source companies as members, who want to work together to improve the interoperability of their products and offer complete solutions to companies instead of individual applications.
The European section of the OSA promises it will be more responsive to the needs of regional ISVs and system integrators and is operating on the assumption that it will gain new European members in the coming months.
In future, OSA president Dominic Sartorio is planning to open additional sections in Asia and Latin America. The goal is to, "think globally and act locally".
