Zoom Round 1 voting also includes the original Eclipse logo.
The Eclipse Foundation is seeking community feedback on an updated version of its official logo. According to Ian Skerrett, the Director of Marketing for the Eclipse Foundation, the current Eclipse logo which was created in 2001 "deserves an update or modernisation". The foundation is asking Eclipse community members to vote on the final 10 concepts, selected from more than 200 submissions.

Entries to the survey will be accepted until the 3rd of March, 2010 at 3:00 pm EST (8:00 pm GMT). The top three community choices will move on to the second round of voting which will select the final concept. According to the foundation, additional refinements to elements, such as colour, font style and/or font shading, may still take place after the logo is chosen. Skerrett says that, the final decision will, of course, be made by the Eclipse Foundation.
