JavaScript
HTML emails can also contain script code written in JavaScript or Visual Basic. If your email program is incorrectly configured, this code will be executed and may cause a number of problems - from opening browser windows to exploiting special browser errors that can infect your computer with viruses.
You can use this email to test whether your email client executes JavaScript. If so, it will only display a harmless message. If a pop-up window appears when you open the email, you should switch off the execution of JavaScript in emails. For more information, see Changing settings.
