Long file name

Often, viruses add a large number of spaces in order to hide a file attachment's true nature. In a name like

"image.jpg .scr"

"image.jpg" may be the only thing you see at first glance. But if you open the alleged image, you instead launch a program that infects your computer. You can use our harmless email to see how your system responds.

For your protection, you should only open file attachments if you have explicitly asked for them or if the person who sent you the file is someone you know personally and has reassured you, for instance by phone, that the email is genuine and the content harmless.

Warning: If your provider or another mail gateway filters your emails for executable files, this email or the attachment may never reach you.
