Internet Explorer - Demo: Various IE Crash Tests
Malicious Web pages can crash Internet Explorer by inserting certain HTML or JavaScript sequences. At present, the following attacks are known:
- JavaScript loop(IE 6.0)
- for (i in document.all.tags);
- Demo: Shoot me down
- Recursive launch of the JScript function setHomePage()
- Demo: Shoot me down
- Function call in the body tag Demo: Shoot me down
Remedy:
We have not heard yet of any patch provided by Microsoft to solve this problem.
