Panda Software has released a Vista compatible version of its Internet Security Suite 2007. The new version also still runs under Windows XP and includes a backup module, which automatically makes backup copies of user data. Also included is a two-months-free-subscription to 1 GByte of online-backup space, for which the user has to download and run another installer.

The anti-rootkit capabilities have been improved and are built around signature-based recognition and behavioural analysis using Panda's TruPrevent behavioural blocker. The website filter should block not only phishing sites, but also sites which attempt to infect surfers with malware. Users of previous versions of Internet Security Suite 2007 can continue to use their license key with the new version, which the company has made available for download.
