Fixes for power-saving issues arrived in the Linux kernel and a backdoor was discovered in TRENDnet IP cameras. German researchers cracked the encryption algorithms used in satellite phones and a man-in-the-middle certificate was issued by Trustwave, a certificate authority. Following feedback from its customers, SDG Systems added an Ubuntu 10.04 LTS option for its rugged tablet computer, which previously only shipped with Windows 7 Professional.
