Mozilla's Thunderbird email client has received a security update, taking it to version 2.0.0.19. The update fixes five moderate vulnerabilities which were fixed in the Firefox browser two weeks ago. The vulnerabilities were rated as moderate for Thunderbird because they require JavaScript to be enabled in the email client, which by default has JavaScript disabled.

Two other low priority security issues were also fixed in the new release of Thunderbird, which is available to download now.
