The developers of Camino have released version 1.5.4 of the web browser for Mac OS X. It closes the security holes which recently forced the release of version 2.0.0.10 of Firefox and supplies a bug fix for which Firefox users had to install version 2.0.0.11. According to the release notes, Camino now includes version 1.8.1.11 of the Gecko rendering engine. The web browser's looks have been adapted to match Apple's latest Mac OS X 10.5 operating system, and it offers enhanced ad blocking.

In addition, a new version of the Cocoa Correo mail client has become available. It contains Mozilla's mail and news libraries and the Gecko engine of the Camino web browser. According to the developer - whose website also offers the program for download - Correo now also supports Mac OS 10.5. IMAP support has also been improved.
