RSA logo It has been announced at the RSA Conference currently in session that RSA and Trend Micro to are to co-operate more closely from now on. The plan is to link RSA's FraudAction service with Trend Micro's "Smart Protection Network" infrastructure to obtain information about current threats, allowing FraudAction to detect threats even faster and more accurately.

RSA uses FraudAction to track down dangerous pages and trojans and render them harmless. In addition, the forensic experts at RSA's Anti-Fraud Command Center work around the clock to preserve traces and catch internet criminals out. Now, Trend Micro's Smart Protection Network (SPN) is to provide additional data collected via its own protective components. SPN is based on cloud services as well as other technologies.
