PHP 5.2.5 released

Version 5.2.5 of the PHP script language has been released to close some security holes and offer numerous improvements. According to the developers, stability has been improved and more than 60 flaws have been fixed. Consequently, the developers urgently recommend installing the new version.

Among other items on the list of changes, buffer overflows can no longer be provoked in the implemented fnmatch, setlocale and glob functions. Find the entire list of changes here: PHP 5 ChangeLog Version 5.2.5. Users of the earlier versions 5.0 and 5.1 can access a migration tutorial.
