Encryption specialist PGP Corporation presented the latest addition to its product family at Infosecurity Europe: Command Line for IBM Power Systems.

PGP Command Line for IBM Power Systems can be used in native form on IBM Power Systems under the IBM i operating system, also known as i5/OS, which is popular among financial services companies, insurance companies, manufacturers and distributors. The PGP application will enable them to protect confidential data for service providers or external partners against espionage and other misuse prior to transmission.

By supporting an ever wider range of operating systems – Windows, Unix, Linux, midrange and mainframe environments and now IBM i – PGP hopes to enable the deployment of its software in heterogeneous architectures.
