The latest version of the "Offline Update" script collection, published by heise Security, now also collects security updates for Turkish and Hungarian versions of Windows and Office from Microsoft's servers. This means that the download script now supports 18 different language versions.

In the new version, developer Torsten Wittrock has fixed a few minor bugs which had been found by users in version 4.0. The list of changes can be found on the project page.

Offline Update allows you to create up to date "service packs" for Windows 2000, XP, Server 2003 and Vista and for Office 2000, XP, 2003 and 2007 in just a few mouse clicks. Any number of PCs can then be updated using a DVD or USB flash drive without the need for an internet connection.
