Microsoft to provide more information about security holes

Microsoft has announced that it will begin providing information on vulnerabilities in greater detail in its Security Vulnerability Research & Defense Blog. Each Patch Tuesday, technical background information about vulnerabilities closed by patches is to be provided in the blog. The blog authors say that Microsoft's security bulletins and advisories will still be the binding source of information, but the blog will often present additional information, such as special workarounds or tricks to detect vulnerabilities.
