Possibly the largest Information Security Europe exhibition to date, this year's event offers access to 350 exhibitors in 33 categories across the spectrum of security appliances, tools and services. In addition, over the three days of the event there are 31 technical seminars ranging from how to lock down Windows Vista to a botnet workshop, and a similar number of business strategy briefings covering management issues from spam to security metrics and the business and social implications of the National Identity Infrastructure. Highlights of the 12 keynote presentations include Security and the Olympics, identity management, high-tech crime reporting and insider threats. The final keynote on day 3, a hackers panel, plays "security by obscurity", as it is announced with the cryptic statement "for legal reasons the panellists will not be revealed".
