After missing a patch on the Windows version of Firefox 2.0.19, Mozilla has released a new version, Firefox 2.0.20. The update is for all platforms, apparently to keep the version numbers synchronised, despite the "clerical error" having only affected Windows versions.

The Mozilla developers still recommend that users upgrade to Firefox 3.0. Firefox 2.0.20 and 2.0.19 lack the phishing protection that previous Firefox 2.x versions had, and 2.0.20 is the last security update that will be released for Firefox 2. The update can be manually downloaded or obtained using the automatic update feature in Firefox.
