CentOS: We are clean

The CentOS project, which is derived from packages from what they describe as "a prominent North American Enterprise Linux Vendor", namely Red Hat, responded to the news of intrustions on Red Hat and Fedora infrastructure servers. CentOS developers announced that they had made an audit of their build and signing servers and could assure users that no compromise had affected them. They also specifically audited the OpenSSH packages and have confirmed there is no compromised code in them.
