CeBIT: Anti-Trojan Service to tackle phishers
RSA is presenting, at CeBIT, its new FraudActionSM Anti-Trojan Service, which aims to help businesses to protect their organisation, brands and customers from a new generation of crimeware attacks, such as session hijacking trojans and keyloggers. According to the vendor, the service has been developed based on previous experiences with threat protection services and the already available Anti-Phishing and Anti-Pharming Services.
RSA FraudAction Anti-Trojan allows companies such as financial institutions to detect which crimeware is being used to target their customers and how exactly this is taking place. In addition, the service should block an institution's customers from accessing an 'infection point' on the web and help in closing down malicious sites and drop sites - sites on which phished data is collected.
