BruCON Logo Belgian hackers are soliciting involvement in BruCON – tagline "Hacking for B33r" – a four day gathering to be held in Brussels, comprised of a two day security conference and two days of training. Proposals for talks, workshops and courses can be submitted until 30th April.

The event will be a two-parter à la Black Hat, with a security training programme comprising two-day courses over the 22nd and 23rd September and a conference with talks and workshops over the 24th and 25th September, similar to the annual CCC conferences in Berlin.

BruCON was first held in 2009 and videos and presentations from that event are available to download. Ticket prices for 2010 have yet to be announced – a two-day training course last year cost €900, a conference ticket €180 in advance or €300 on the day (€50/€90 for students).
