Owen Thor Walker, alias Akill, the 19 year old botmaster who is believed to have netted around £15,800 between January 2006 and November 2007 while controlling an international botnet group called the "A-Team", has had his day in court. Walker was formally charged with four offences in February, but the count has since risen to six. He finally pled guilty to all charges.

Walker, who apparently suffers from Asperger's syndrome, stated that he knew what he was doing was illegal but did not think it was criminal. He has been remanded on continued bail until May 28 for sentencing. He could at worst face 10 years jail time.
